Acer Nitro 5 is the latest device to join the integral list of gaming laptops that boasts 8th Generation Intel Core processors. With the addition of this new variant, the Acer Nitro 5 now ships with the latest 8th Generation Intel Core i5, Core i7 and Core i7+ processors offering an improved six-core design with Intel Optane memory.
Similar to the old variants of Acer, the new Acer Nitro 5 packs a 15.6-inch display. It packs Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti graphics card and comes with up to 512GB of NVMe PCIe solid-state storage. The laptop also features up to 32GB of DDR4 memory. This laptop has been provided with NitroSense utility, which monitors the status of the CPU/ GPU and adjusts the fans accordingly.
Additionally, the company has also included the Dolby Atmos Audio Premium and Acer TrueHarmony technologies. The Nitro 5 has an Intel Wireless-AC 9560 2×2 802.11ac as well as Gigabit Ethernet to cover both wireless and wired connections.

Intel Core i7+ processors

Acer has upgraded the last year’s Nitro 5 with new 8th Generation Intel U-series quad-core processors. The fresh one with a new processor will be a clear upgrade over the CPU in existing Nitro 5 models. Acer has also upgraded the hexa-core laptops.
The new Acer Nitro 5 will be available in the US and Europe starting May. The base variant of the laptop with Core i5-8300H processor, GeForce GTX 1050 GPU, 8GB RAM, and 1TB HDD is priced at $749.99 (roughly translates to about 49,000 INR). You can also upgrade it with GTX 1050Ti and 256GB SSD for an additional $100.
